Mobile Cheque Deposit
Effective March 1, 2022, any funds that are deposited through mobile cheque deposit are subject to a 7-day hold.
- Only original physical paper cheques can be deposited.
- Screen images or printed copies of cheques are not acceptable.

Mobile phones with Apple iOS or Android operating systems support Mobile Cheque Deposit. Note: This feature is currently unavailable for a tablet but it is being developed.
Mobile Cheque Deposit uses the security features of your mobile banking app to ensure your transactions are protected and confidential. The mobile app does not store the cheque images on your device. For enhanced security, it is recommended that you use your carrier's internet connection rather than public or free wi-fi connections.
After you deposit your cheque, write 'deposited' across the front and store the cheque in a secure location (in case Christian Credit Union needs to verify it). After 120 days, you can safely dispose of the cheque by shredding it. There is no need to mail in the physical cheque.
There is no daily limit or maximum number of cheques that can be deposited in one day. Daily limits for Mobile Cheque Deposit are as follows:
Personal Banking - $50,000
Business Banking - $250,000
